It isn't easy thinking up ways of making amends. For one, there's pride getting in the way. There's also lack of resources (funds and time). And then there's lack of imagination. I mean, what could a poor girl do to win back her man?

Of course, a sincere repentant heart would suffice. However, if that girl in question is not showy of her emotions, how would the guy know he's being wanted back? Would a text message saying, "I miss you, babe. Please come back" be enough? Would a store-bought gift melt his heart and make him want to kiss-and-make up? Would a romantic and sumptuous candle-lit dinner in a San Diego restaurant be proof that, indeed, "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach"?

Oh dear! I might as well send a link of this post to that someone. Then maybe, just maybe he'd get the idea.
